How your beliefs either help or hinder your success

“Now that I'm clearer about what success means to me, what do I do?”

Great question! Because it's all well and good to think about something but if nothing changes as a result of the thinking, then ... well, nothing changes.

The question was "what do I do" and therefore you might expect that we'll talk about taking action, but we're not. Instead, we're going to talk about beliefs. Because although taking action is important (and we'll definitely talk about that, just not today), you need to know what you believe!

So, I've got two questions for YOU ...

✨ Do you believe it’s POSSIBLE to be successful?

✨ Do you believe you DESERVE to be successful?

If you answered YES to both those questions, awesome! Believing that you can and that you deserve to be successful are precursors to achieving success!

But if you answered NO to one or both those questions, then without realising it you might sabotage your attempts to live well. Now, let me reiterate what I said, "without realising it". I'm sure you don't wake up and say, "right, how can I mess things up for myself today?".

What you believe matters, a lot!

When you're programmed with a belief that you can't or don't deserve to be successful, you'll unknowingly hold yourself back. And that's why we're focusing on beliefs ahead of taking action.

Can you look in the mirror and say to yourself, "that's what a successful person looks like"? Or can you say out loud that you deserve to be successful?

If not, grab your journal and write whatever comes to mind. Avoid judging or censoring your thoughts, simply write whatever you think or feel as you think about being a person who believes success is possible and that you deserve it.

When you know what success means to you AND you believe it's possible for you to achieve it and that you deserve it - watch out world!
