What can you learn from the last 10 years?
/Christmas and the end of the year are oh-so-close, and that's got me reviewing and reflecting on not just the year but the DECADE too! (Crazy, right 😲 a whole decade has been and gone.)
When I looked back over the last 10 years, I was gobsmacked by what I've done, experienced and achieved. Fair to say there's been a mixed bag of ups and downs, highs and lows, easy times and challenges. No surprises really because that's how life is.
While I wish some things hadn't happened, they did and I can't change that. But you know what? I'm grateful for how the tough times have shaped me. You can learn so much about yourself when you're in the midst of something big, something that challenges you.
As you review and reflect on the year and decade...
▶ What went well?
What have you done, experienced and achieved?
▶ What didn't go well?
What didn't work out or didn't go how you planned?
▶ What lessons did you learn?
Notice the practical lessons and lessons about who you are as a person and what you're capable of.
▶ What are you grateful for?
Because in amongst everything that’s happened - the ups and downs, highs and lows, easy times and challenges - there’ll be much to be grateful for.
Your answers to those questions will be invaluable as you create a vision for your life in the new year and decade ahead.
Because, beautiful, you have the power to craft the life you live, to make the dreams you have real.
But so often people get trapped in a place filled with doubt, fear and worry. From this place, the world looks full of lack, and insurmountable challenges and roadblocks. And while it's common for people to point externally to all the reasons why they can't be happy, why they aren't living their dream, more often than not, it's possible for them to make changes.
It's the stories - the narratives - we tell ourselves that shape our lives.
Sadly, more often than not, the stories people tell themselves are full of lack - of them not being enough or not having enough. And that's what keeps you trapped.
But you know what? If the story you're telling yourself now isn't helping you, create a new story! It's as simple as that. Decide and commit to creating a new story.
Give yourself permission to step into a place of love, abundance and soul-alignment.
Because then you can expand even more into pure possibility. You can craft the life you dream of living.
And yes, along the way doubts, fears and worries will surface. But the difference is, now you'll feel strong enough to acknowledge them and take a step anyway. They'll no longer stop you or leave you feeling trapped.
From a place of love, abundance and soul-alignment, you'll discover a wealth of courage, resilience and power. And that's where the magic happens.
Go well,
- Tracey
