A daily wrap up could improve your health. Find out how.

A daily wrap could improve your health. Find out how.

By Tracey Hancock

How many times have you found yourself tossing and turning through the night thinking about what you didn't get done, what you need to get done and any other number of thoughts?

Frustrating isn't it. Because let's be honest, when you wake up feeling like you've not really had any sleep, let alone quality sleep it's not likely to be a great day.

So what to do about it?

At the end of each day I like to do a wrap up. It's a way to close off the day so I can rest and relax for the evening.

The end of day wrap up is a wonderful way to:

1. reflect on what you've achieved

2. identify the lessons that you've learnt

3. re-schedule anything that didn't get done

4. schedule anything new that's come in or come to mind

5. check your schedule for the next day

It's also a good time to pack away the work you've been doing and tidy your work space ready for the new day tomorrow.

For the sake of your health and so you can live your life fully now, develop a wrap up routine that allows you to relax in the evening and have a more restful sleep. - Tracey
