Before winter sets in, what is it time to let go of?

Here in New Zealand signs that winter is on its way have been appearing. Each season brings its own magic.

There are so many changes that occur as we move through each season ... changes in how we are, what we do, what we eat, how we feel and so much more.

But often we fight the changes.

Longing for what we no longer have... long summer days, BBQs and salads, fun and laughter outdoors, or perhaps the new growth of spring is what you prefer.

When we allow ourselves to flow with the change in seasons and honour what each one brings, we support ourselves to live well. So this message is a timely reminder that as we inch closer to winter, release what no longer serves you.

What thoughts, words, beliefs, actions, relationships, possessions, or whatever it is that you're holding on to, what needs to be released?

When you hold onto ' things' past their best before date you can feel stuck or as if something is festering. You dwell on things that haven't or aren't going well, and things you know need to change.

Winter is when we retreat within, both inside our homes and ourselves. We slow down and become more introspective. Feeling stuck or having something festering will drag you down through the cold months, creating an environment for dis-ease and illness.

We can tell ourselves compelling stories as to why we can't, won't or shouldn't let go of whatever it is that needs to go, but you know.

You know it's time to let go.

Allow yourself permission today to release something, just one thing. Bless it, thank it and then lovingly let it go because it has served its purpose.

You can do it.

You know what you need to release.

You know you can do it.
