You and your dreams matter

- Tracey Hancock, REALiving coach + mentor

Are you pushing aside your own dreams so that you can live up to the expectations of others and what you think you should be doing?

It's common for people to do that. So if it sounds like you, you're not alone.

When you do that, when you try to be all things to all people and push aside your dreams, you'll live out of alignment with what's important to you. You'll be out of sync with your own values and purpose.

While being out of alignment might sound harmless enough, your mind, body and spirit will be in a state of distress because you're not being true to yourself.

Sure, you might be doing things and achieving success, but it's likely that it'll feel unsatisfying or perhaps hollow. And it doesn't matter how much you do, it just doesn't feel right.

Compare that to when you're focused on your dreams, focused on something that really matters to you.

Imagine that feeling of being in the zone, in flow and on track. It's how you feel when you know you're being and doing what will help you move towards making your dream real.

That's your sweet spot. And it's not a random one-off event - you can have that sweet spot sensation more often than not. It all comes down to whether or not you'll allow yourself to follow your dreams.

Beautiful, you matter and so do your dreams, they deserve to see the light of day. Shine a light on them and take action today to move you towards making them real.

What's your dream?
